Briefe aus Nirgendwo – Letters from Nowhere
Briefe aus Nirgendwo – Letters from Nowhere. Like a prism, Letters from Nowhere reveals the many facets of human ideals and goals, tensions between society and individual and the role of thinking in this process. The theme is addressed visually through a single, ordinary event. What we understand, how we read reality and what happens to documents when they are moved from their original context into a new one. What happens to people, what happens to memories and how stories are renewed as they are retold again and again. The book, published in conjunction with the exhibition, includes articles by Kimmo Sarje, Ph.D., artist and critic; Pertti Lindfors, Ph.D., Docent; Hannu Eerikäinen, media researcher; Pekka Sutela, Docent; Vesa Oittinen, Docent; Raimo Lovio, professor; and Kati Mustola, researcher.
