Ill Japonia
Ill Japonia is the solo project and alter ego of Taigen Kawabe — the frontman, bassist, and vocalist of the London-based experimental psychedelic rock band Bo Ningen.
As Ill Japonia, Kawabe explores a raw and rave-driven world, blending heavy basslines, experimental electronics, and hypnotic rhythms with his signature intense vocal delivery. His live sets are high-energy sonic journeys, bridging club culture and avant-garde performance, always pushing the boundaries between noise, emotion, and movement.
Rooted in UK bass music, new age textures, and even video game soundtracks, Ill Japonia draws on a wide palette while staying spiritually and rhythmically grounded.
Aprapat
Aprapat is a Finnish harsh noise unit best known for its detailed metal junk noise and analog tape manipulation, with multiple highly praised releases on various labels around the globe.
