F & Y – Performance Day at the Sugar Doors (Sokeriovet) Exhibition
F & Y is an event script for two performers and exhibition works. The performance will take place for one day at the Sugar Doors (Sokeriovet) exhibition. Museum visitors are welcome to stay for as long as they wish. Participation with admission fee / Museum Card.
Performance
The performance will take place for one day at the Sokeriovet exhibition. During this time, the exhibition space will be opened up and surrendered to change. Museum visitors are welcome to stay for as long as they wish.
F & Y continues Kausalainen’s long-standing collaboration with performance artist Florian Feigl (Berlin) and actress Yuko Takeda (Helsinki). The event script written for them temporarily transforms the Sokeriovet exhibition into a stage where events unfold on a human scale. They rest, breathe, walk, and burst into dance. The performers tune into the flow of the space and the works within it, opening up space for the viewer to linger beside them.
