We will make miniatyre books, earrings, suitcases and other objects suitable for the miniature world.
The art workshop takes participants into the world of the Käpykolon väkeä books. Käpykolon väkeä is a series of fairy tales by Zagros Manuchar and author Leena Parkkinen that deals with mixed families, multiculturalism, and ecological themes. The visual world of the book has been created in miniatyre.
Zagros Manuchar (b.1990) is an Iraqi-born filmmaker and artist who gradueated from the Academy of Fine Arts at the University of the Arts Helsinki. An exhibition of Manuchar is on display at the Poriginal Gallery on 27.2.-22.3.2026. Free admission to the gallery.
