EXHIBITION APPLICATIONS

The exhibition programme of the Poriginal Gallery is decided annually for the entire season. The programme is determined by the Culture Board of the City of Pori, which awards exhibition periods based on applications.

The exhibition period in the Poriginal Gallery is 16 days (from Saturday to Tuesday). For exhibitions in 2013, informal applications addressed to the Culture Board of the City of Pori must be submitted to the gallery by the end of September 2012. The application must include an exhibition plan, visual material of the works (slides or photos), a CV and any other material relevant to the proposed exhibition.

RENT

The rent for the entire gallery is 540 euro, and for one floor 335 euro. For artists from Pori, the rents are 285 euro for the entire gallery, and 185 euro for one floor. The prices are inclusive of value added tax. The gallery takes no commission.

The rent includes
- cleaning and supervision
- press communications
- copies of written exhibition material
- a limited number of pedestals for sculpture as well as other accessories
A VCR, monitor and projector, as well as sound system, may also be included in the exhibition contract if necessary.

The rent does not include
- hanging and dismounting
- transportation and insurance of the works
- printing and mailing invitations
- printing and distribution of poster
- opening arrangements
- payable notices in the press
- preparation of written material about the exhibition
